What a fantastic dining experience! You’d never guess how spacious this place is from the small entrance, but once inside, it feels lively and full of energy. The atmosphere is warm, the service is smooth, and the food truly stands out. We loved every dish, the fresh local peppers, flavorful linguine vongole, the fig and prosciutto starter, and the delicate tuna crudo. Everything was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Easily one of the best meals I’ve had in a while!

TLDR; go for the dessert, drinks and appetizers (in that order) We came in for a late lunch on a weekday and were very surprised to see how busy they were. Food: between the two of us, we ordered 2 appetizers (mushroom crostini, arancini), 2 mains (eggplant penne, spaghetti and meatballs), a drink (pear mezcal) and 2 desserts (apple pie and flourless chocolate cake). I have to start by saying that the desserts are really what made my day - the cardamom ice cream is spectacular, the flourless cake is rich and but only mildly sweet, which makes it perfect! The mushroom crostini was super flavourful and the pear mezcal was delicious. The mains and arancini were decent but not something I’d order again especially given their price - just wasn’t quite worth it to me. Service: our waiter was really great and had good recommendations for us. Atmosphere: The space is very chic and the views of the bay from their second dining room are really lovely!

The meal was a delightful experience from start to finish. The seafood was incredibly fresh, with clams and mussels cooked perfectly in a rich, buttery broth that carried just the right touch of herbs. The crisp bread added a wonderful contrast, soaking up all the flavors. The salad was refreshing, with crunchy romaine, tangy dressing, and crisp croutons that balanced the heavier dishes. The pasta was creamy, nutty, and aromatic with pistachios, while the risotto was smooth, comforting, and unexpectedly fun with the addition of popcorn on top. Each dish was unique, yet together created a perfectly satisfying dining experience. The dessert course brought a mix of flavors and textures. The apple pie, with its golden crust and heart-shaped detail, looked beautiful and paired nicely with a scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream. However, the filling leaned a bit too sweet, which slightly overpowered the natural tartness of the apples. On the other hand, the hazelnut cake was a true highlight — rich, moist, and bursting with deep nutty flavor. Topped with a generous swirl of whipped cream and crunchy hazelnuts, it struck a perfect balance of sweetness and texture. Overall, a delightful finish, with the cake stealing the spotlight.

Excellent food, drinks, and service! We started with the oysters and drinks. The flavored ice that comes with the oysters was really good with them. I had the bee cocktail which was fantastic. For dinner my husband had the lasagna and I had the bolognese, both were so delicious! The waiter was attentive without being overbearing, perfect service. We would definitely come here again.

Tried a few cocktails and all were solid. The standout dish for me was the vegetarian lasagna. Too good, melt-in-your-mouth, easily one of the best lasagnas I’ve ever had. The linguine vongole (with clams) was excellent as well, and we finished with their butterscotch budino, which was amazing. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time if you don’t, be prepared to wait anywhere from an hour to two (sometimes even longer depending on the night). Once you’re in, though, the experience is absolutely worth it. The ambience is warm, lively, and charming in that classic Pink Door way. Food and service are both top-tier. Overall, a must-visit Seattle spot for great vibes and food.

We celebrated my birthday at The Pink Door and it was absolute perfection. Service: Hands down - best service we've probably ever had. The timing and times our waitress stopped by was perfect. The other staff would take plates when they saw they were empty, and frequent water refills. Everyone was attentive, kind, and looked like they genuinely enjoy their job! Food: Incredible! We had two appetizers (oysters, cheese balls), two mains (bolognese and the special: scallops), and two desserts (cheesecake, chocolate cake). Everything was so delicious and perfectly priced. Drinks: They only have a few wine selections but they were perfect with our main dishes. Also, the dessert wines were excellent! And coffee was fresh and really flavorful! 10/10 will return! Recommend making reservations.

My wife, who doesn’t do social media, caught me talking a picture of my food and asked me why. When I told her I intended to write a Google review, again she asked “why”. She thinks one only writes reviews for places that need a boost, like new restaurants that rely on recommendations. Of course The Pink Door doesn’t fall into this category as it’s been in business for years, well known for fantastic Italian American food made with the freshest of ingredients, great hospitality and service, and attractive atmosphere….and, I should add that it’s also my wife’s absolute favorite restaurant here in Seattle. I think it might be mine, as well. We went there to grab a bite after enjoying the 40th Annual Great Figgy Pudding Caroling Competition which culminated with a surprise, unannounced performance by Brandi Carlile. We walked in between lunch and dinner time and the restaurant was packed. We didn’t have a reservation but within minutes we were seated at the bar. My wife already knew what she was going to order (Clams and Mussels) and when I saw they have Linguine Alle Vongole, I shut the menu. Whenever I find myself in an Italian restaurant, I always look for this dish. I’ve eaten linguine and clams in New York’s Little Italy & the Bronx; whenever I visit San Francisco, I continue exploring Italian eateries looking for who does this dish best. I can now end my search. I’ve found the perfect dish right here at The Pink Door. So many baby clams I lost count…and the pasta! The linguine portion alone was magnificent! An incredible combination of pancetta, garlic, chilis, in a perfect blend of a light, yet creamy, white wine sauce. We were served by Caroline, who makes a perfect Ketel One dirty martini, and is clearly expert in the art of bartending. Overall, a wonderful time at Pike Place Market with The Pink Door being the highlight of our day. Really looking forward to going back soon!
